Roles used in Timesheet variations. Each project sets the €/hr rate for each role in the project settings.

Public holidays
Dates that count as public holidays for overtime calculation. Timesheet entries on these dates are rated at 2× (or 3× if Sunday).

Signed & approved email template
Sent to the client after they approve & sign. The signed variation is attached as a PDF; this is the cover message they see in the email body.

PDF service
Pixel-perfect PDFs with your Archivo font, logo and signatures — rendered by Browserless's hosted headless Chrome via a Supabase edge-function proxy (required because Browserless blocks direct browser requests).
Setup: 1. Sign up at https://browserless.io. 2. In Supabase → Edge Functions → deploy the browserless-pdf function (file in supabase/functions/browserless-pdf/index.ts). 3. In Supabase → Project Settings → Edge Functions → Secrets, add
BROWSERLESS_TOKEN with your token.

Push notifications
Get an instant alert on this device whenever a client approves, rejects, or signs a variation — even when Tally isn't open.
On iPhone, notifications only work if you first add Tally to your home screen (Safari share → "Add to Home Screen"). On Android and desktop, no install is required.
Role permissions
Choose what Managers and regular Users are allowed to do. Owners and Admins always have full access.
